causes
Many causes have been proposed such asexposure to extreme temperatures like cold wind followed by a warm environment.
Some foods are implicated including spicy foods and those high in histamine including: yogurt, cured pork, wine, and cheese.
Topical derm treatments and exposure can trigger Rosacea including: sun exposure, wind, heavy exercise, hot baths.
Microdermabrasion, chemical peels, topical steroids, benzoyl peroxide and Retin-A can also cause flare ups.
