Don't Be Embarassed Any Longer - Call TODAY! We can Help!

Why Suffer Any Longer?

Chronic nail infections are a nuisance. They can be embarrassing and can be a cause of more serious medical problems.  Rashes elsewhere on the body can develop from an allergy to the fungus. Chronic inflammation from the body constantly fighting the infection robs energy for other uses. It can also inflame the arteries and nerves throughout the body leading to faster aging and even arthritis.

The Fountain™ can treat all four kinds of fungal nail infections without the use of expensive medications taken by mouth that can cause liver and kidney complications.  Usually three to four treatments are required to eliminate the fungus from nails. Toenail laser treatment is safe effective and non-toxic compared with medications taken to treat this condition.

Diabetics and those with serious medical conditions are often not able to use anti-fungal medications taken by mouth because of the sometimes serious side effects.  Over-the-counter nail and fungal liquids and creams are not effective in preventing or treating fungal infections.  They do NOT penetrate the nail and nail bed where the fungus lives and multiplies.

About Nail Fungus

Nail fungus, also known as “Onychomycosis” is one of the most common diseases of the nails.  It can affect either fingernails or toenails.

The four different types of nail fungus:

  • Candida - Usually this affects the fingernails of those whose hands are frequently in water.
  • White Superficial Onychomycosis (WSO) - is an infection in the upper layers of the nail and looks like “white islands” in the nail.
  • Distal Subungual Onychomycosis – Affects the underside of the nail at its end.
  • Proximal Subungual Onychomycosis – This infection occurs at the base of the nail where it grows

Signs and Symptoms:

Nail infections cause discoloration and thickening of the nails.  The infected toenail becomes brittle and can break off.  An allergic reaction to the chronic fungal infection can occur which causes itching and a rash elsewhere in the body.  These are fungus-free lesions.  There can be pain underneath and around the nail if left untreated.  Chronic infections in the body cause increased inflammatory responses throughout the body as just mentioned with itching elsewhere.  The problem can lead to arthritis. Chronic inflammation has been associated with an increased risk of heart disease.  Chronic inflammation stresses the body, accelerates aging and takes energy to “fight the constant battle with the fungus.

Causes:

A dermatophyte (skin fungus) called trichophyton rubrum is the most common fungus. Candida is more prevalent in hands immersed in water.

Cost:

The total cost for both feet is $300 per treatment. It generally takes three or four treatments to clear the fungus completely because there are more spores under the nail bed which can generate and perpetuate the problem.

Treatment:  How to Cure Toenail Fungus

The Fountain™  treats fungal infections of the fingers and toes with our Sciton® ,the best way to cure toenail fungus laser, the- without medication!  The laser gently heats the nail and skin to a precisely controlled temperature that kills the fungus in and below the nail.  Get rid of toenail fungus now!

Several treatments are required because fungal “spores” can still develop into a continued infection.  New shoes are a requirement to get rid of the spores and fungus.  Daily changing of socks and laundering with hot water and bleach are required.  A drop of chlorine bleach can be applied to the nail each morning and night to further reduce the infection.
