Here is how the three customized programs work. Start with an initial consultation with Dr. Curt Birchall, M.D. Next, a female hormone evaluation lab panel is ordered. Then, testing is performed at a medical lab. When the results are back, you will be called for a second appointment. At that appointment, all results are discussed with you.
A copy of all lab testing is given to you. If a need for Hormone Replacement Therapy is found, an thorough “executive” physical is performed. An EKG is performed and interpreted by the physician during this extensive physical exam. If the results of the physical exam are normal, Hormone Replacement Therapy is discussed. Bio-identical hormones are then prescribed based on the goals and desires of the patient and the need documented by laboratory testing.
