Preparation Before Precedure

  • Avoid botulinum toxin injections (Botox®) at least two weeks before the Dermal Infusion procedure.

  • Stop using skin care products that contain retinoids or alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) for three to five days before the procedure.

  • Wear sunscream, avoid sun exposure and do not use tanning beds.

Post Treatment Care

Patients typically can return to normal activities immediately. Follow your provider’s advice closely. Avoid direct sun exposure and wear sunscreen.

After the procedure, you may want to:

  1. Avoid skin care products that contain retinoids or AHA for three to five days.

  2. Resume your work and usual activities.

  3. Start wearing makeup (there’s no need to wait).

  4. Wear sunscreen when outdoors and minimize sun exposure for at least two weeks.
